ORDERING FROM OUR ONLINE SHOP
Welcome to the Orangutan Foundation Online Shop.
All prices are shown in (£) Pounds Sterling, inclusive of VAT but exclusive of delivery charges.
We can accept Visa, MasterCard, Switch or Maestro payments online. If you would like to pay in another way or simply order over the telephone please contact us at the office on +44 (0)207 724 2912.

Shopping on our site is safe and secure. We have entrusted the processing of your payment details to one of the UK's leading payment providers, CardSave. They have achieved the highest level of compliance under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI) and data is encrypted in transit using the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol. During the payment process you will be transferred to their secure site to enter your payment details before returning to the Orangutan Foundation Online Shop to complete the transaction. This process is seamless and ensures that the credit/debit card transaction is encrypted and fully secure. We do not hold any credit card details within our systems.
All data collected by our Online Shop is used only for the purpose of completing your transaction. We guarantee that, unless required to do so by law, we will never share, sell or otherwise distribute any information that you provide to us without your consent.
When you make your first order and register we need an e-mail address and password. The e-mail address is required so that we can send you information relating to the progress of your order. The password is required so that you don't need to re-enter your billing address and delivery details whenever you make further purchases from our Online Shop. You will be responsible for all orders placed through your account so you should make sure that you keep your details safe and confidential.
Previous Customers: If you are a previous customer and have made purchases in an older version of our Online Shop you will need to create a new password for this shop and re-enter your details.
Please note we are a very small charity within 1 week please allow up to 14 days for UK delivery and 20 days for worldwide delivery (unless using overseas surface mail). We cannot always guarantee delivery quicker than this but if you require a quick delivery please enter details in the "Additional Information" box during the checkout process and we will try to help. All of our orders are sent by Royal Mail. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
All items will be dispatched subject to stock availability. We will immediately notify you (via email) if any items in your order are out of stock.
For Overseas Deliveries: The delivery cost does not include any applicable duty or customs tariffs that you may be liable for upon importation. These charges must be paid by the consignee.
Weight Limits: Orders over 20kg within the UK and 5kg to Europe/Rest of World may be subject to additional delivery charges which will need to be charged for separately. We will contact you once the order is received should there be an additional amount to pay.
IF YOU ARE ONLY MAKING A DONATION AND/OR BUYING A MEMBERSHIP THERE ARE NO DELIVERY CHARGES. ALL OTHER ITEMS IN OUR SHOP ARE SUBJECT TO DELIVERY CHARGES.
In the unfortunate event that you are not happy with a product that you purchase from the Orangutan Foundation Online Shop, please return it to us within 21 days for a refund or exchange. For hygiene reasons we are unable to accept returns on products that have been opened or used such as our range of soaps.
Under the Distance Selling Regulations you also have the right to cancel an order within 7 working days. Your cancellation must be sent in writing to us by either post, fax or e-mail. Any cancelled goods must be returned to us at the address below:

When making a return please provide your contact details, the reason for the return and when the item was purchased. Please also indicate whether you require an exchange or refund. We regret we are unable to refund postage and packaging costs unless the goods were sent in error. All returned items must be securely packaged and it is advisable to obtain a proof of posting. We will refund or exchange any returned goods within 7 working days of receiving the returned goods.
